My first blog on my first photography website, and what do I feel the need to talk about? Pinterest.
Now, I'm not a big blog reader and when it comes to blogging I am super short and sweet…to the point. Pinterest has revolutionised my work, and not just because it contains incredible images by other photographers who inspire my work…but because my clients are easily able to show me what they enjoy in a photo. Before weddings and other special occasions, I find that having my clients create a Pinterest board of their favourite wedding or other style photos makes both sides of the communication spectrum clearer.
If you have yet to hear about this fabulous (and sometimes addicting) website, I'm not going to go into detail, but feel free to check out my sites on Pinterest and get an idea for yourself. My personal site as well as my new photography business site are great examples that I encourage you to FOLLOW!! ;-) Join the site and you will make the experience for both you and your photographer more enjoyable.
Can I just interject that in the process of adding those two links and typing fast, I somehow managed to screw up passwords and names and settings like a complete knucklehead!! oi oi oi…hope y'all find them without dramas. Note to self: SLOW THE FREAK DOWN.
Ok, so like I was saying…make a pin board!! My clients have helped expand my ideas and creativity to their special days, stretching my skills because their boards contained images with angles and lighting I hadn't attempted before…it was a win win!! Clients receive what they want, and I become a better photographer in the process!! Whoop whoop. Happy days.
